After four raining day, July 23 was a sunny and hot day. In 10 a.m., two buses came to the school.
The passengers were the schoolmates of late Mr. Sayling Wen, deputy chairman of Inventech, Wen Taijun, Mr. Wen’s son and his friends. An old grey-hair man got off, accompanied by people younger than him. The students waiting in line showed them to the tree planting court where they plant the trees as a way of commemorating Mr. Sayling Wen. Each tree contains the hope for the healthy growth of the students and the development of Yellow Sheep River. The guests will provide fees of maintenance for the tree carers and the margin will be used as the allowance. The students can do something significant to the environment of the west and they learn how to render for those who help them. On the other hand, they can have the chance to receive more education and even further development.
The grey-hair senior, the easy going uncles and the young persons planted the trees with the students, digging, shoveling the soil and watering. Although it was so hot that sweat dropped from their faces, we could see their hopeful smiles. Each tree was hung a card that writes the donator’s and the tree carer’s names. At last they took pictures before the trees. The students will send the growing report to the donators via the website of the school and keep in touch and share the happiness of the growth. |
