From Jul 21 to 27, the experts of PESI held an English training program in Tianzhu and Liangzhou of Gansu Province. The training lasted for one week, which was warmly welcomed by local teachers and students. Tianzhu Educational Bureau and Xinhua Middle School made great effort in reception.

After hearing the news of English training, all teachers and students enthusiastically participated in it, who wanted to improve their teaching or study level in that period. In the training, the experts of PESI paid special attention on oral English, how to organize the course, teaching method and technologies, communication and etc. The text book they used was Peiguo English Training Book, whose exoteric, interactive and participant characters was think highly by all the participants.

What the students liked most were the colorful activities. Besides watching American videos and singing English songs, PESI organized students to act in two English dramas, which were American Traditional Wedding and Christmas. Everyone actively participated in trial exercise. By practicing oral English, body language, gestures, students deeply tasted the difference of Chinese and American culture, in which their English level was improved unconsciously.

At the end of training, students said that this activity was much helpful to their work and study. They realized that if they wanted to learn English well, they had to put themselves into large amount of practice in the target cultural background. Only in that way, they could have a deep understanding of target language. They acknowledged the wonderful English training program brought by PESI. They hope they could have more opportunities to communicate with the experts of PESI.
