Coming to Yellow Sheep River(1)

Introduction

In the beginning of 2004, one of my friends, a Taiwan business man gave me a book written by Mr. Sayling Wen named Completion of Western Development in Ten Years. From then on, I knew about Mr. Wen, Mr. Lin and the stories of Town and Talent. I was touched by their passion and care for the west and admired their unique vision. Now Mr. Wen left us. I think the 1.3 billion mainland people owe him something. He should be recognized by more people and one of People Touching China surveyed by CCTV last year. But he didn't have the chance. It was not his fault, but we know rather little about him even the commemorative programs didn't report about Mr. Wen in an all-round way. No matter how little the mass know about him. From that time, I feel every people being responsible for our nation should do something for the course of Town and Talent initiated by Mr. Wen and its signification will be valued by history.

Fortunately, I got the opportunity. I got to know Mr. Kenny Lin who let me to do some consulting work. Then I began to be linked with Town and Talent, but didn't take part in detail work until this summer vacation when I had chance to make research in Yellow Sheep River. In this article, I wrote down what I saw and thought and share with everyone caring about Town and Talent.
