Learn How to be an Effective English Teacher

Certificate Program in English Communication Skills

August 8 - 21, 2004 Yellow Sheep River, Gansu

You are invited to attend a two-week training program in English to improve your oral language skills and your English teaching skills. This is a chance to work with foreign native speakers and expert teachers so that you can help your own students to succeed. In addition, you will receive training in oral communication teaching skills and practice with your fellow teachers from many parts of China. This is a rare opportunity to immerse in an English-only environment, to promote your self-confidence and strengthen your skills. The program is delivered by the International Education, Language and Training Association and has been designed to help English teachers in China to learn best practice and develop new resources for effective teaching.

This is a challenging program with at least 8 training hours per day and evening and is only for those teachers who really want to improve their professional skills. A reasonable standard of English is needed for you to benefit from the program.

During the training, you will be provided with all the necessary training and learning materials. All you need to bring are your enthusiasm and curiosity. We look forward to working with you to improve your teaching skills.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a
Foundation Course Certificate in English Language Teaching
