Xiong Xin: in our research, we visited three places, such as Linkou, Xiangshui, and Xiaoba. On the way to Xiangshui, it was so hot. We insisted until the last moment.

Fu Yu: this is my first time to do interview. I was so excited to contact people of ethnic minority groups. When I was interviewing a man, my heart seemed to jump out of my throat. I was so clumsy at that time.

Wang Jie: it was a good opportunity to visit Linkou, Xiangshui and Xiaoba. It broadens our vision. We learned local people’s tradition, custom, dances, clothes, living and etc. We have learnt a lot about communication with others. Although the process of research is harsh, we know that there is no harvest without sowing. The sweet fruit comes only with hard work. We have also gained the valuable experiences of interacting with others; this ability will be a long-life benefit for us.

Qin Yu-long: when we arrived at Linkou, it was already six o’clock in the afternoon. In the next day, we interviewed miso seniors. They told us the origin of their ethnic group, their customs, tradition, dances and musical instruments. They cooperated with us very well. We have learned much beyond the text book.

Cao Yun-jie: when we were sitting on the bus, we were so curious about that mysterious place. It was our first time to see Lusheng and miao cloths. We tried to blow Lusheng one by one, which was very interesting.

Zhu Ding-gui: this is our first time to do interview. At first, we have no confidence at all. Thanks to miao people’s cooperation, we finish our work smoothly. Their passion and hospitality impresses us a lot.
