research process:
The process is divided into three parts.
Stage 1 preparation
In this stage, we set our team, define the title, train students' computer skills and assign tasks to each individual. Students are asked to learn how to make web page, and how to communicate with strangers. We paste our self-made newspaper in and outside the campus. We upload our preparation work in FTP websites, which is convenient for team members' communication. |

Stage 2 collecting material
1 collecting record
In spare time, students search information on internet and from books. They visit Dujiangyan project and interview seniors about its history and function. After contacting with officials in tourism bureau, students think about questions and the interview goes smoothly. Thus, they get a great deal of first-hand material. The whole research is presented in self-made newspapers and web pages. We hope more people to know Dujiangyan project.
2 make web pages
The first-hand material is classified and typed into computer, and then uploaded to FTP. With teachers' guidance, we make web pages and construct web site.
Stage 3: modification
We correct errors in web pages, add more material in and write research report. |
Research result
1 improving abilities
The students and teachers have learned a lot from this competition. Only by the communication and the joint efforts among different people can we realize success. All of us are trying our best to do it. After the allocation of the work, we collect materials, have interviews with some local people and take photographs of important spots. Every student and every teacher spares no efforts in designing webs. All of us actively express our own ideas towards the activity. And what impresses most in this competition is the friendship among teachers and students, the cooperation and the solidarity between team members. teachers decide to pay more attention on training students' abilities. |

2 computer skills
In four months cooperation, all the teachers and students' computer and communication skills are improved. We learn a lot in collecting materials and writing articles. The process of research is typed into computer and made into web pages.
3 effects
This research has a great influence on students and teachers. We realize ourselves in a new aspect. Our work adds honor to our school. According to interviewing officials, more people's attention is drawn to education, which must promote the school's development. |

Summary
This activity makes us realize the importance of the Dujiangyan Project which shows the great ability of our ancestors conquering the nature. The wisdom and creation of our ancestors make our nation industrious, courageous, and full of wisdom. Our generation will try our best to hand down the good traditions.
