The preliminary election of students to participate in Cyber Fair was held in a classroom today. I had thought that I could be a team member as long as I entered the competition. In a moment, I found that it was just a preliminary election. I was a little worried. At first, the teachers asked everyone to make a self-introduction. Others spoke quite fluently, which made me more nervous. I expected to be a team member with them. When it was my turn, I tried my best. Then we were waiting for the teachers to declare the students’ list. Ah, I heard my name. I was quite excited. I am the one who could represent my school to participate the Cyber Fair. How happy I was!

Today was Sunday. On the weekend, I usually went out to play, but today I had some special things to do. After washing my face, I rushed to my school. After arriving at the classroom, I saw other team members to participate in the Cyber Fair had already been there. I felt quite shamed! They told me about something about the later interview. In order to catch up with others, I decided to leave for our destination as soon as possible. We should exert ourselves to the utmost after setting the goal!

With an eager curiosity to know Cyber Fair, I applied for participating in the competition. After fierce competition, I became one of the team members. The first day of our work is dull. I was typing the whole day. But it was a chance for me to communicate with other students. What was more, I wanted to improve my computer skills in joining this competition.
Today our team was divided into three groups to do research outside and I belonged to the third group. There were three people in my group, but one student didn’t come today. So, only two people left in our group. We decided to do research respectively. This was my first research. I was afraid of meeting uncooperative people. The theme of my research was to know how much did people know about Mudong Mountain Songs. Firstly, I entered a shop and smiled to the boss,” how is your business?” To my surprise, he said “if you have nothing to do, go out!” When I introduced my research to him, he still put me out. I felt annoyed.
Secondly, I talked with a person who sold bean-milk. This time I was a little clever. I bought a bowl of bean-milk and then proposed my question about the research, however, he never heard about Mudong Mountain Songs. My god! Thirdly, I entered another clothes shop, in which two women were chatting. After learning my research, they would like to cooperate with my work. From talking, I learned a lot about Mudong Mountain Songs. At the end of my research, they praised my dress and asked me where I had bought it. How interesting today was! Someone refused my research, but someone treated me warmly! I learned a lot beyond knowledge on the textbook. I didn’t know what would happen tomorrow.

In my opinion, all the leaders were arrogant and authorial; however, the head of Mudong Cultural Bureau-Mr Lv was very kind to us. It seemed that he was my uncle, who told stories to us. There was no space between us. He answered our questions one by one. I really wanted to express gratitude to him.

Today I got up early; as it was our first task of participating in the Cyber Fair-interview local people about how much did they know about Mudong Mountain Songs. It was the essence of our local culture. As a Mudongness, I should learn it and popularize it. Our team came to ancient street in Mudong County. There were so many people. We chose a fifty-year old woman as our first interviewee. Fortunately, she could sing mountain songs. She said that her neighbour-Ms Wang sang much better than her. Under her guidance, we went to Ms Wang’s home, who took out lyric book and sang a piece for us. We took note of lyrics and record the song in the tape.
Later, we did a lot of research. It was quite hot. We felt tired and thirsty, because we had been walking for three hours. But I felt quite happy because our interview was successful.

This morning, the place of assembly was changed and several people didn’t come. To my disappointment, my desk mate was also absent. There were only three girls in my group, including me. I was chose to be the group leader. On our way to interview, we met two boy students-Liukang and Liyu. With their protection, we felt quite safe. It was quite hot! When we reached Mr. Li’s house, it was one o’clock PM. We had been walking for several hours. After interviewing Mr. Bai, we rushed to his student-Mr. Zhang’s home. On half way, we bought several pan cakes as our luch.
Our next interview was quite interesting. In order to take photos of Mr. Zhang’s granddaughter, she proposed three requirements: firstly, I carried her on my shoulder and walking for a while. Secondly, I was put on make-up by her. Thirdly, comb her hair. In order to take pictures, we accepted all her requirements. Finally, I found that the little girl playing a joke on me, because she made me funny. When we returned to school, we had no strength to have lunch. In the afternoon, we invited some students to help us classifying interview record. In the evening, we went back to our dormitory! The moment I was lying on my bed, I felt so comfortable!

Today I got up early. When I arrived at meeting room, I found some of team members absent. We three girls had to interview by ourselves. On half way, we found two other team members, who missed their way. Then, we five people decided to cross Huanghe River by ferry boat. However, the place of taking ferry boat was changed. Fortunately, we went to Mr. Bai’s house and made an interview. As he was old and nearly dumb, our communication was quite hard. But he was kind to us. Thanks to his cooperation. As long as our team had the same goal, I believed we could finish our task!
