YSR Vocational School is the first Town and Talent Project Member School, which is the model of schools leading local economic development. By using internet, towns and villages in distant areas could be remotely trained in essential software, English and typing skills. This would elevate the level of knowledge in underdeveloped areas to equal that of the eastern coastal region of China. Schools would become internet bases, assisting villagers in performing e-business and facilitating the inflow of oursite knowledge. It would offer the opportunity for locals to creat wealth without relocating, permitting skilled workers to remain in their hometowns.

Q: What’s the former condition of YSR Vocational School?
A: well, at that time, there were only 200 students and many of them transferred to other schools.

Q: What’s the condition now?
A: since 1999, the number of students increased dramatically. .

Q: What’s the reason?
A: it’s mainly due to Town and Talent Project. In modern times, the internet has the power to reach into every corner of the world. The students in our school have the access to compuer and internet. Since we used Typing one-step program, more parents send their children to our school.

Q: What’s the biggest influence that TTT bring to your school?
A: well, it changes our conception. Many villagers have realized the importance of education, and thus it quickens the speed of getting rid of impoverishment.

Q: How will your school develop in the future?
A: as TTT member school, we will actively participate in TTT projects and improve our teaching stands, to fulfill the aim of schools leading local economy.

Libaijia Primary School is donated by Dr Kenny Lin’s , which is the first school to use internet in Zhoujiazhuang Village.

Q: What’s your relationship with TTT?
A: well, our school is TTT member school and the teaching building is donated by Dr. Kenny Lin.

Q: is there any difference after becoming TTT member school?
A: yes, with TTT’s help, we have the first professional English teacher in our town. We have the access to internet. By using internet, we can contact teachers in Hongkong and Canada.

Q: What’s reason of the changes?
A: well, it mainly due to Town and Talent Technologies. They bring hope to our rural education.

Q: What’s the biggest influence that TTT bring to local people?
A: well, it changes our conception. Many villagers have realized the importance of education, and thus it quickens the speed of getting rid of impoverishment. More people have opportunity to go to the outside. It was Sayling that we have close relationship with the world.
