Weather and the soil of
potato of the Western Sea Solid Region are suitable for planting
potatoes. Along Yinma River in Yuanzhou area, a lot of farmers construct
to private powder shops and some private owners at Zhonghe County,
set up more than ten large scale asylum factories. They buy yams
with high price. Yam the farmer grows is very easily sold at higher
price. Therefore, in recent several years, lives of common people
in Western Sea Solid Region become better and better. But, while
farmer income and the nation revenue from tax increasing, a great
deal of sewage ejected from the starch factory pollutes clear river.

On 10th November 2007, we
interview tile factory and starch factory surrounding us. After
communication with principals, both brick factory and starch factories
both bring objective economic income. But they have to admit that
they also bring very big breakage on the local environment at the
time of bringing economic income. For they are private enterprises,
with economic power shortage and without local government support,
they are unable to solve these problems!
Our interviews bring usmuch thought pressure and that is environmental
pressure.
