In our interview, we saw the mechanics restored by mending the previous damaged with the tools and replace the new material. After that, they painted to keep the original style and to reduce the material using, which is environment-protecting and economical. We should promote this way. We know that the restoration and organization procedures are always divided into three, according to the building’s age, value, protection status, that is, restore, update and rebuild. The protection and organization of the building must combine with the improvement of the citizens living quality and block function, ensuring the real life of the block. We know the three ways to restore the old street from the skillful mechanics.

1、restoration--- resume its orginal

for those buildings in high value, full frameworks and styles traditional household and shop, we always resume its original looking by protecting the previous looking. We always reinforced the frameworks and replace the parts and restore the building color and decoration.

２、updates- the vertically protecting.

For the high value building and vertical protected traditional household and shops, we always protect it vertically, and updates the inner framework and functions to hold the its face to street. The inner frameworks rebuilt rationally according to the current state and functions.

3、rebuilding---building a new scene in the new building.

For all the new buildings along the both sides of the street, we take the improving steps to rebuild by reducing the floors, adding tiles and brims, painting and decorating the outer wall and forming the outlook united with the building conformity.
