■The
history of the ancient town In the spring and autumn time, it belonged to Ba country and to yizhou in qin dynasty. In sui and tang dynasty, it belonged to the liuyang county(which is at the gaosizhai, 2 miles away from the current site, so it is named as stone bridge as yangliu town.) It got its peak in Song Dynasty and was ruined in Ming Dynasty to be rebuilt in Early Qing dynasty. The stone bridge got its name from the ten bridges on the river from north to south (shortly named as stone bridge). In 1985, the town was built in the name of the stone bridge. It is famous for it. The bridges which are all in different style, from boarding bridge, whole stone bridge to single hole bridge, reverse bridge. ■Culture heritage This town enjoys a long history with many culture heritages, such as: fire dragon, chuan opera singing, doll class, car light, cry marry, bashan carry erge, stamping gaoqiao, album, taiqi sword, fanshan dumpling ■Leninism street Inside the country, there are 48 lanes. The Leninism is the most famous among the old street. Leninism street, in short name Lenin street, is most attractive for its paifang, which is standing from east to west, alltogether mimic wood in stone. All these paifangs are high. They were built for shengbiao, haofeng, jiexiao by jiaqing, tongzhi, and guangxu year. It is simple and beautiful and very brilliant for its anchor. Most beautiful is the attractive character craved as liening zhuyi jie at the middle of the second board. |
