The next five years, industrial economy in Wangcang County will develop machinery manufacturing, agricultural products processing industry, high level of the construction of the provincial economic development zones and provincial high-tech industrialization base.
    The agricultural economy in Wangcang County will promote the five industry (herbal tea, livestock, fruit, mulberry, medicine), to found agriculture county with green and low carbon.
In recent years, Wangcang will be planned to build experience destination of red culture in Sichuan, Shanxi, Gansu and ecological leisure tourism destination.
    The next five years, Wangcang will become the second center city in Northeast Sichuan.
