Qilixia is seven Li(Chinese unit),and its peak is between 80 and 100 meters high, and the width of its valley is 5 to 10 meters, It is just like there is a crack on the earth, narrow and deep. Surrounded by cliffs, it is full of green color with canopy everywhere;there are gurgling water, the refreshing air. Attractions are scattered: Rock Springs, Dreams behind a Curtain, Thousands of Books, Lovers’ Stone, Mother’s beach, Stone Bonsai, Peach flower Shop, and many other attractions, showing the Gorge’s characteristic “quietness, strangeness, high, magnificence, charm and beauty” which deeply attracts visitors.
Scenic area is famous for its clean, quietness, magnificence, charm and beauty, rolling. The Gorge is seven Li long, which is called Qilixia. In the valley, there are trees and shades, where is remote and tranquil. Micang avenue, is the road linking the ancient road of Sichuan and Shaanxi , also called Mi Cang Ancient Road, and Mi Cang Trail.
Micang avenue, is located in the middle and south of Micang Mountain, the upper part reaching Qilong, and the lower part reaching to Cangliang, known as “ the most import connection of Sichuan province and Shaanxi province, the only path entering Sichuan, and is famous paralleling with the ancient Qipanguan. It is originally constructed when the first emperor Huang of China coming to Sichuan, and become famous in Han dynasty, flourishes in Tang and Song Dynasty, and stands through Ming and Qing dynasties with a history about 4,600 years, from very ancient times the Avenue is the place all military fighting for , and also the road for government and business, which connects the capital and the central plains, is the way going to Sichuan and Southeast Asia and an important part of the “ Southern Silk Road” in China.
