With Taiwan Teachers
This year, in our summer practical activities, our
teachers come from Taiwan, Nankai University, and
Northwest Normal University. They are very nice and
we feel very happy with them. Time flies fast.
Totally there are twenty days. In such a short time
period, we learned a lot. Those teachers open our
eyes and let us learn the key of communications with
others.
The first group of Taiwan teachers is enthusiastic
and open. There are three class instructors
in our class and they are all like that. One time,
they took us to climb mountains. However, they were
all very slow and had to rest frequently – that was
because there were not lots of mountains in Taiwan
and the mountain altitude wasn’t high in Taiwan
either. They said the altitude here was too high and
they felt lack of oxygen. They asked us with a tinge
of emotion that “do you need to walk on this kind of
mountain roads to go to school?” we said“yes,
and some mountains on the way are even higher.”
They were surprised and said “the
conditions here were tough and you were strong!”
The
second
group was the most unforgettable for me. They took
us to play in the forest and bought us big water
melons. They often chatted with us and taught us to
make water rocket, parachute, paper plans. And they
showed us different currency from Taiwan, Malaysia,
and Singapore. Those money were real, but they let
us take them and observe them closely – which showed
their trust in us. At the farewell night, we all
felt sad and every Taiwanese teacher left us some
encouraging words. They all told us to study hard
and to see the world outside the mountains. And we
would see each other again in the future!
This summer has pasted us for several weeks.
However, whenever we think about the beautiful and
unforgettable summer, those kind faces of Taiwanese
teachers comes in front of our eyes vividly.
