Mr. Wang guides us to visit other plants in the sand. The Chinese tamarisks have long roots which can stretch out more than thirty meters to absorb water. The flowers are light red, the buds are light yellow and the leaves are green. The branches and leaves are also the good medicine to cure rheumarthritis. The local people like the tree very much and call it the savior of them.
Sacsaouls can live in the dunes of the deserts. They have rest period in winter and summer. They like sunshine and have highly developed roots. In the temperature of 43℃ and even 60 to 70℃, they can still survive. They are used to fix sand in the desert. They are also a kind of good fuel and good material to build folds. The branches are the good feed for camels. They have various economic values.
The trees of narrow-leaved oleaster live in the dry and barren land, which shows their strong vitality. Although their living environment is so bad, they still make their contributions to the human beings. The fruit of Chinese oleaster is very small. It cannot be classified into fruit because of its taste.
