“Flower” usually regarded as the special skill of the Hui nationality, but our Tianzhu’s “flower” also very famous. Luckily, we heard from Professor Hu that our Tianzhu’s “flower” has applied the world non-material cultural heritage list of this year. Tianzhu is a Tibetan based minority autonomous county, except Tibetan nationality, there are other minority nationalities such as Han, Hui, Tu and others. People here can learn from each other and mix different nationalities’ culture. Such as our today’s interviewee San Jicao, who is a Tibetan but can sing many national songs, such as poplular songs of Han nationality, flower in Hui, drinking songs in Tibet, An Zhao in Soil family and so on.

Sang Jicao is a native Tianzhu people, she is a farmer of 38 years old and lives in Paradise Village, Paradise Town, Tianzhu County. We knew from the interview process that she never went to school and she can only write her own name until now. According what she had said, she loves singing since she was young; the songs she can sing all learnt from others after hearing others’ singing. From then on because people all liked the flower she sung and called her “flower sister” gradually. Today, Sang Jicao was very happy for Professor Hu’s coming. She sung many different style’s local songs in different native language for the guest, at the same time, she also sung her best good at song “flower”.
