  On the day when we covered the Huzhu Folk Custom Garden,we,through the interviews with the native elderly,had learnt about people were rescuing the Monguor wedding,which pleasured us greatly.Guided by the rescue priciple which can fundamentally solve the problem,the protection of the Monguor wedding,in the way of protecting the individuals、the works and the culture,was done by giving top priority to the typical and influential inheritance people,and through the development towards the young successors meanwhile.Moreover,a general survey was made towards the saying and singing of the wedding through gathering、records、classification and cataloguing to establish a complete file.And the content、the artistic form、the cultural expressions of the wedding,with some tools like the Chinese and Tu characters、recorder and video camera,etc,were recorded all sidely and systematically as well as were properly kept.Singing styles and tunes in all parts of Huzhu were properly protected.In order to let more Tu population spontaneously learn and succeed the national custom,people had strengthened propaganda which can help reinforce the Tu population's awareness of the intangible cultural heritage protection.
    The cultural department had taken a lot of protective measures to the Monguor wedding,inclduing its general survey、recording and keeping in 2006;its teaching materials compilation、programs for young and middle-aged learning elites and practical operation in 2007;its scientific seminar organization and related information books publishment in 2008;its propaganda、inheritance and industrialization in 2009;and its addition of the publicity gallery about the literal interpretation、statues、pictures and video,etc in 2010.
