I am very glad that I have the opportunity to take part in making the website and my parents have given me a lot of support and encouragement. More important is the activity helps to spread Tu culture and tradition.

Yingming Liu

I have got a better knowledge of Tu after the research and investigation. Tu has it own language but it has no characters. Tu people raise horses and sheep but eating the meat of horse is taboo because horse once helped Tu. Tu believe in Buddhism and they go to Lamasery regularly. Tu culture and tradition is fading gradually. I hope the activity can help to slow down the tendency and make more people know about Tu which is special nationality with long history and characteristic tradition.

I met many difficulties when did the research and my parents did not support me to do it. But I have gone through and learned that we should respect and pay attention to the Tu culture an tradition, for example Tu does not eat meat of horse.

Fanlao Zhang

Since I participated in the website establishment workshop, I became busy as bee. Except for studies everyday, I had got to interview classmates and aged persons in the village ofter school.It was very difficult for me. I felt very sad as interviewers turnd me down. Although I came across many difficulties, I never gave up and provided many important information and material about Tu culture and tradition.

I am a Tu child. But except the generation of my grandparents, people know little about Tu culture. During the research, I found that Tu culture has not disappear but it need us to carry forward and spread. The project really helps in that aspect.

There were many difficulties during the research. I was hard to find proper interviewees. Some Tu people were no different from Han. But I have found some Tu handicrafts from my grandpa and I believe it will help to learn more about Tu cuture.

Taking part in the cyber fair provides the students a good opportunity to put their computer knowledge into practice. They summarize and edit their collecting material in computers. And they have had a better use of soft wares of Word, Excel Powerpoint and Dreamweaver. It is beneficial for their all-round development.

Taking part in the exhibition is a momentum for us to exploit Tu culture, and the students have had a good opportunity to practice their computer knowledge. Students have improved their skills of operating computer and get to know how to cooperate with each other in assignments like collecting information and investigation. There is no doubt it is beneficial for their interpersonal and coordinating ability.
