The total
journey from Chuankou Town to Guanting Town is more than 130km, in
which we have to clime the highest mountain in Minhe County-Langtang
Mount. When we were driving in the bus, we were deeply moved by the
outside scene. It was so beautiful. It seemed that the land was covered
by a green carpet. The other passengers told us that the government
carried out returning farmland to forest to recover its natural environment.
Ah, our government’s policy was beneficiary for our offspring.

Whenwe
were 2km away from Nadun carnival, we have heard the excited sound
of drum. When arrived, a large group of dancers were singing and
dancing. We were quite interested in the foot paces of dancers and
observed for quite a long time. Afterthe performance, a man told
us that their basic foot pace was similar to Taiji picture. We guessed
that maybe there was reglious implication in it.

In Jul14 of lunarcalendar, our team members arrived at Nadun carnival
early in the morning. We saw some seniors burning paper cuts in
front of Buddha and some paper cuts were hanging on the long pole.
We didn’t know what it meant. And then, we went ahead to do an interview
with a senior. He told us that the paper cuts were sacrificial offerings
to gods. In the past, when Tus had difficulty in life and production,
we would bless help from gods; in the next year, we would repay
our promise to gods so we burned those paper cuts. Ah, I saw.
