                         Geographical Environment of Dan Geer
   Dan Geer is located in the north of the Yellow River,heading Huangshui River with Qinghai Lake to the west and 50 kilometers to Xining,and a stronghold along the Tang Bo ancient course and the southern Silk Road.And it has always been gateway from the inland to the west range and Tibet.Huangyuan has 7 townships and 2 towns with an area of 1,509 square kilometers and a population of 135,900 consists of 13 nationalities,including Han,Tibetan、Hui and Mongolian,etc,and is with an altitude between 2470-4898m and a continental climate-sufficient sunshine,strong solar radiation.With an annual average temperature of 3℃ and an annual precipitation of 408.9 mm,having four seasons of spring,Huangyuan is a natural summer resort.
