Buddha Jiayang was born in a small village named “Wali”in Tibetan language, 12km away from Guide County in Qinghai Province.
There are houses of typical characteristics “zhuangkuo”. After inquiry, we find the home of Buddha Jiayang – an industrious and harmonious family with five brothers and sisters.

We chat with the family members of Buddha Jiayang and get to know some stories in the growth of the buddha. All of these stories are full of hardship and setbacks. We are deeply touched by these.

His family members tell us that it is this infertile land that builds the kindness of the buddha. Although he is very busy, he often tries to find time to visit his relatives and neighbors and tries his best to help them.

On the way back, we meet some villagers and ask them to tell us their opinion of the buddha. With sincere and grateful look, they vie with each other in answering our questions. “He is the savior of us.” “He often help us in settling problems.” “He does not like lazy people.” “He tries his best to prevent children from dropping out of school.”…… All of these make us feel the deep affections between the villagers and the buddha.

We remember the name of the village which means cattle. We praise the spirit of cattle and our buddha is just like cattle.
On the way buddha has trodden on, we feel the deep affections of the buddha towards his villagers and the affections will encourage the buddha to make more contributions to his hometown and our country!
