In order to promote further development of the tourist industry, at present, Guide County has drawn up the blue print of the tourist industry, according to characteristics of local tourist resources in Guide. And the same time it should make full use of the unique nature scenery and human landscape in Guide, focus on areas such as entertainment, national attractions, landscapes, adventure camping, hot springs, local customs and so on. Tourist industry should be pushed forward on both quantity and quality so as to gradually become the head of the third industry as a new economic point in county. In the Ten-five period, according to the six principle: "outstanding the advantages of tourist resources, reasonable utilization of resources, playing folk's advantages, the combination of the current and long-term interests, the reasonable structure and harmonious development and moderate construction", after planning the current goal and future goal, the main efforts should be put on the tourist development plan, the construction of the important scenic spots, furthering the tourist resources and comprehensive utilization, continuing opening up and shooting out the character of Guide with competitive projects and guidance cooperating with especially western provinces, vigorously improving tourist infrastructure and environment and developing travel products to support the whole development of tourist industry.

The current goal of the tourist development is to further the promotion of Guide and to actively introduce and train tourism management and guide personnel. For example, plan the tourist pictures, set up the large-scale publicity billboards, set up the tablet " the Yellow River in Guide is the clearest " in the north bank, establish three travel agencies of Guide, Yellow River, Hot Springs, develop the travel products, and adjust and optimize the layout of travel industry which will form step by step the structure of "one pattern, two areas, three districts, four gardens, six points, eight scenes".
