folk stories：Chess fun move stones

    There are always many idlers who lay several chess boards on the streets of Guide . As these idlers are always around these boards to watch and shout , fights are always caused , thus influencing the whole atmosphere of the streets .After considering it , the county margistrate , Wu Shijin , thought about a plan thanks to the large amout of big and heavy stones on the town god’s temple which is being built . On a hot day ,Wu Shijin who sat under the shades og rtress uprightly gathered all idlers here and stood in a row .

    He ordered his followers to draw a huge chess board with lime on the ground and wrote the name of chessman such as Jv , ma xiang ,shi ,pao on the stones . Then he invited two people to move chesses which he callled .

    He shouted : pao

    People woule move the chessman , pao .

    He shouted :ma .

    Another people would move ma .
    The two movers were soon tired out of breath and full of sweat as they needed to carry those      stones here and there . The observers also could not stand as they were sour wrist and knees .
    After a monment when the timing was proper , Wu Shijin stopped the movers and said to the observers happily : Those people who do not do farmland work or other labouring work could come here for chessing , is it ok?
    No , no . they answered and went away .
    Since then , on people dared to gather on the streets .
