The Maitreya Hall was built in the 5th year under the reign of Emperor Wanli in Ming Dynasty and was repaired every year afterwards. The hall is a building of multiple eave roof and square in layout with 5 rooms in both the horizontal and vertical orientation. With gentle roof slope, the bracket system appears delicate and beautiful, which was modified during Qing Dynasty. 20 pillars are built on the stone bases in overturning-pot shape. Both eave columns and walls tilt inward. Corner posts are equipped with flank feet which have no advantage in height, while the front eaves are relatively deep with boards covered at the beneath, where is the place for pilgrims to bow and pray. The other three sides are equipped with prayer wheels, which reflect the characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism.
