Linjiang temple is located on the south bank of Jialingjiang River, one kilometer south of Cangxi County, was named after its location near Linjiang ferry. Setting out of the county, pass through Jialingjiang River bridge and walk about ten minutes, then you can arrive the gate of Linjiang ancient temple, also you can take a boat from the ferry directly to the mountain gate of Linjiang temple.

    Linjiang temple is situated on the huge cliff. Standing halfway up the hill of the road, on the way of walking down along the stone staircases, you can see a small part of the farewell pavilion of the Linjiang temple. Walk along the wall and make a turn, keep going along the stone pavement then you can see the mountain gate of Linjiang ancient temple.

  Setting out from Cangxi county, passed through Jialingjiang River Bridge and made a right turn, after less than one kilometer's way, we arrived Linjiang temple, the ancient temple opposite the county. As approach, we saw what surrounded the temple were mountain and river, and the mountain was covered by lush bamboos and ancient trees. Entering the gate, we ascent the stairs from the left cliff, made a west turn and arrived the second floor of the temple. In the middle of this floor was Ciyun Pavilion, in which there seated the figure of the Bodhisattva Guanyin, and on both of whose sides seated Linggongdian Hall and Sangongdian Hall. In front of the halls, the stone gallery was a winding path leading to a secluded place suggesting that we had to bow down our heads. After that, we started our trip from another direction that we passed through Daguan Pavilion inscribed with words of overlooking the landscape as well as through the stone arch inscribed the words of a place of unique beauty, followed by zigzagging down the stone pavement, finally we arrived the yard of the temple.
