of project narrative 4.How did your activities and research for this International Schools CyberFair project support content standards, required coursework and curriculum requirements? through this internet expo activity themed research plan, our students know more about the huangyuan lamp row, as the national non-material culture heritage. Knowing its development and current situation, our students are willing to join this activity and publicize in the campus after the webpage making. When we show the site in the ladder classroom, we received praise and encouragement, at same time, let more joining us for advise. Also we let more people to be interested in the computer course. Many students wish to join our group to make the webpage. We are so proud that, everyone can be the master. 5.What has been or will be the impact of your project on your community? through this internet expo activity themed research plan, our students know more about the huangyuan lamp row, as the national non-material culture heritage. In our interview, all the works of papercutting, painting, embroidery are deeply impressed us that the farmers even so skillful as a master. Through this activity, our students publicize in the campus, and let more students to know the lamp row. Let more people joining us to protect the national nonmaterial culture heritage. 6.In what ways did your students act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your International Schools CyberFair project both on-line and in person. five members are from different town. In order to make the research, we are divided into own town to collect the huangyuan lamp row history and artwork, but we failed, as none of us know it. So our research had to stop. At this time, Mr. Fu said that: it is because all of us doesn’t know it, we are obliged to research this, not only publicizing locally, but also the world. It is town and talent company giving us this chance to show and let us attend the internet world expo. We are confident that our students will successful.” Our students are full of confidence, deciding that after the web site done, all of us will publicize the lamp row and show the charm of the lamp row in the ladder class room in the noon time. Recording the feeling in the procedures, they ask hexiaosong for the tech problems through town and talent. The related unit and department’s staff connected with the teachers are interviewed with the students. 7.How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers? the success of this themed research has a lot with the great support from the school. Master Kui at first refuse to have the interview with us. But when he knows our purpose, he is very happy. He help us actively to find the words information, connecting the craftsman and leading us to their home by explaining our aim. Without Mr. Dang’s help, it will take us a lot of time to arrange. As the show is on the first month, we have little information. We ask fo r help to Mr. An yongfa in county tour bureau. He is warm hearted and providing his own pictures and contact for us. He also called to ask the progress. Ma yuying deputy sheriff heard that we are going to have interview. She stick to come to our school for saving time. Encouraging us to continue to publicize the lamp row to the global for more understanding, let them visit huangyuan. She also asked us not to give up the learning while doing the research. Under their great help we finally finish the interview. And we got the tech direction when making the web page, we learn many from this. our themed plan can’t be successful without their support. Here we would like to thanks. 8.Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises
it is very happy to attending. We learn a lot. Every interview may
surprised us. We are from unknown about the huangyuan lamp row to
collecting the information to share with students all over the
school. Second, through this match we learn how to make the web
page, process the simple pictures, using the camera and video, the
first time to learn the web page making and pictures processing. The
most important thing is that we learn the feeling of cohesive. In
the collecting, there are also some teachers misunderstanding by not
let our members to join, through Fu’s talking, and we try our best
to take our leisure time to interview and collecting the information
in the noon time. Through this match, we learn the colorful folk
culture. There are many common people around us. Their concentration
in making and carefulness are deeply impressed us. We are really
working with many self-taught craftsman. We learn many knowledge
from them and their shining side. No pain, no gain. |
