 Nanhai Temple enjoys a long history . As early as the Neolithic Age , our ancestors toiled and multiplied on this land . During the western han dynasty (60A.D.) , Guide town was administered by Junheguan in Jin city (Lan zhou ) . In the 11th year of East Jin dynasty , it is transformed into a formal town , Jiaohe ,which was changed into Guozhou in 619 A.D. At the frst year of Baoyou in South Song dynasty , the mongolia built Tubo ambassador mansion at Hezhou after they had beaten Jin , bringing the first appearance of name of Guide . In 1271 in Yuan dynasty , Guide zhou was officially built .At the early Qing dynasty , Guide belonged to He zhou wei in Shanxi , but Guide belonged to Linzhao after the Hezhou wei had been repealed at the fourth year of Yongzheng emporer . At the third year of Qianlong , Linzhao fu was changed into Xining fu and into Guide ting in 1761 . In 1913 during the period of republic of China , Guide ting was changed to Guide town , belonging to Gansu province . However ,with the founding of Qinfhai province ,Guide belonged to Qinghai . On 18th Sep , 1949 when Guide town party committee and people’s government were fonnded , the new page of Guide has been unveiled . In december ,1953 when Hainan Tibet autonomous region (later prefecture) was founded , Guide was changed from governning by province to town . Cureently , about 100,000 people fron about 15 ethnics such as han , tibet , hui and tu are living on Guide Town with 119 village committees and 4 neighbourhood committees and admister four towns including Heyin ,Hexi ,La xi wa and Chang mu anf three villages including Hedond , Garang and Xinjie .
