Team members
Each team is combined with coach, drummer, paddlers and cox.
Coach
The coach is going to be the person who pulls everyone into line and gets them to work as a team, no easy feat when there are many paddlers in the boat. A coach really is a good teacher, it is important that this person knows how to impart knowledge in many different ways so they can connect with all the different members of the team.
Drummer Fully loaded, a phoenix boat seats 20 paddlers, a steers person and a drummer who sits at the front of the boat and beats out the stroke. The drummer is the center of the team, who controls the rhythm of paddling. The drummer is required to have suitable height and weight, power, resistance, good sense of rhythm and the versatility to cope with vagaries.
Helmsman A helmsman or helmswoman stands at the end of the phoenix boat and is in charge of steering the boat. His or ability seriously influences the whole team’s work. He or she must ensure the safety and stability of the boat during the competition. The helmsman is required to have suitable height and weight (155-170cm high, 45-60kg weight ), power, smart, concentration and the versatility to cope with vagaries.
paddler The paddlers should have suitable age, height, weight, body form, physiological function, and mental quality.
